10 BRIGADE (PARA) OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY DEMONSTRATION FOR MALAYSIAN COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE SERIAL 51/2022

The Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC), led by Brig Jen Dato’ Hj Semaon bin Hj Marjuki, Commandant of MAFSC, together with 28 FM/DS, 5 lecturers and 168 Course Participants (CP), visited the 10 Brigade (Para) on 5 Sep 22. They received a warm welcome from Brig Gen Khairul Azmizal Ahmad Natal, Commander of the 10th Brigade (Para), before proceeding to PARAWOOD for the live demonstration.
This visit aims to give an overview of the Rapid Action Team (PAC) of the Malaysian Army’s capabilities in various operational deployments within the country, such as parachute operation, mobile air operation, tactical combat & casualty care, short-range air defence, sniper & reconnaissance insertion, fire support and extraction. In addition, the delegation has also been exposed to combat swimmer & diving, unarmed combat, specialist training in the tower (abseiling, repelling & fast roping) and Combat Support and Combat Service Support element movement.

At the end of the dynamic demonstration of the Land Parachute Battle Group (LPBG), the delegation was also shown the Para War Dance. This visit also involved the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MAFDC) delegation as part of their domestic security field study research led by First Admiral Badarudin Taha RMN, Commandant of MAFDC.
