MALAYSIAN ARMED FORCES STAFF COLLEGE INDUCTION COURSE YEAR 2023
Putrajaya, 4 – 6 January 2023 –The Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) conducted the Induction Course in preparation for Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) – MCSCJ 52/2023. The course was participated by 36 Directing Staff (DS) including 4 newly posted in DS and it was conducted at Hikmat Hall. The main objective of the course is as a refresher for the upcoming MCSCJ course and the platform to update the Staff Training Handbook (STH).
The course was officiated by Brig Jen Dato’Hj Semaon bin Hj Marjuki, the Commandant of MAFSC. In the opening remarks, the Commandant of MAFSC highlighted his requirements which were focused on the excellence of the college in delivering knowledge to the Course Participants (CP) and urged all DS to follow six main points which are the DS-CP relationships, DS-DS relationships, strong communication skills, organisational skills, conduct of research and adaptability.
The course commenced with further elaboration on the Training Management Plan by the Head of Training Development, Kol Nizam bin Che Ani RMAF and followed by a series of other related briefings. On the third day, it was concluded with a briefing by MAFSC Chief of Directing Staff, Kol Mohd Hafizar bin Md Idris who amplified the whole content of the course. The objectives of the course were successfully achieved and all efforts to ensure the smooth conduct of MCSCJ 52/2023 were implemented efficiently.
