A LECTURE ON ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF MALAYSIAN MARITIME ENFORCEMENT AGENCY (MMEA) IN COMMAND, LEADING AND MANAGING IN COMPLEX AND CONTEMPORARY ENVIRONMENT IN MALAYSIAN MARITIME ZONE

PUTRAJAYA, 4 July 2024 (Thursday) – Rear Admiral (M) Mohd Zawawi bin Abdullah, Director of Maritime Enforcement and Coordination Division, MMEA Headquarters, delivered in-depth lecture to course participants of the Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) MCSCJ Serial 53/2024. His lecture aimed to impart decisive understanding of roles of Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency to enforce federal laws as well as saving live and resources at sea with aim to uphold maritime sovereignty of the nation.

The session was remarkably engaging, featuring an active and constructive question and answer segment where participants displayed keen passion and a strong willingness to learn. MAFSC deeply appreciates the insights and shared experiences provided by Rear Admiral (M) Mohd Zawawi bin Abdullah, which are instrumental in shaping the perspectives of future leaders of MAF in order to understanding of matters related to the maritime domain that influence global security, economic activities and the environment.
