𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐆 𝐇𝐎𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐅𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 (𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓) 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝟓𝟒/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

PUTRAJAYA, 14 Jan 2025 – A symbolic and momentous Flag Hoisting and Course Opening Ceremony for the Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) (MCSCJ) Serial 54/2025 was held on 14 January 2025 at the PUSPAHANAS Main Auditorium, heralding the official commencement of the course. The ceremony was officiated by Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri bin Zali, President of PUSPAHANAS, with full attendance from the distinguished University fellows and Faculty Members/Directing Staff (FM/DS).
In a proud display of international camaraderie, 24 flags representing 24 nations, including Malaysia, were raised during the event. This year’s cohort welcomes 45 International Course Participants (ICPs) from 23 different countries, comprising 5 participants from the National Resilience College (NRC), 7 from the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MAFDC) and 33 from the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC). The ICPs expressed immense pride in representing their nations at this prestigious institution.
Delivering the opening address, Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri bin Zali opened the course by highlighting its key benefits: adapting to a changing world, improving leadership skills, and building strategic connections. He stressed that success in this course requires teamwork, mutual support, and a shared goal of completing the journey together. He also reminded participants that this year is not just about learning but preparing for future leadership challenges.
The President ended by recognizing the hard work of the Faculty, Directing Staff and Support Staff, who ensure the smooth running of this important course. With this encouraging start, MCSCJ Serial 54/2025 promises to be a meaningful experience of growth, leadership and international collaboration.
