PUTRAJAYA, 16 Jan 2025 – National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM): The Executive Education Institute of National Defence University of Malaysia (NIEEd) organized the Registration and Briefing Day for the new Course Participant (CP) of the Postgraduate Diplome in Strategic and Defence Studies 2025. The program, jointly conducted by NDUM and the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) welcomed a total of 180 Course Participants (CP) which are comprised of 147 local CP and 33 international CP representing 22 countries worldwide at the iconic Dewan Bestari, NDUM, Sungai Besi.
The event was officiated by Leftenan General Datuk Mardzuki bin Muhammad ,Vice-Chancellor of NDUM and graced by Brigadier General Zamsari bin Abu Hasan, Commandant of MAFSC. Also in attendance were senior NDUM management, distinguished faculty members and directing staff (FM/DS), deans, and academic personnel from the Faculty of Defence Studies and Management.
Academic Modules Overview
The CP will embark on a one-year academic program encompassing three semesters. The curriculum is carefully designed to develop strategic, critical and analytical thinking, combining theory with practical exercises. The key modules include Policy and Strategy Module (PSM), Command, Leadership, and Management Module (CLM) and Military Module.
These meticulously structured modules aim to cultivate adaptive leaders and strategic thinkers capable of thriving in the complexities of modern military operations and geopolitics.
