𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐒, 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 : Course Participants of Malaysia Armed Forces Staf College (MAFSC) Serial 54/2025 had the opportunity to witness the Firepower Training 2025 (FPT 25), one of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) most prominent annual events thundered across the Gemas Range, Negeri Sembilan with a spectacular display of military firepower. The training was graced by the Chief of Defence Force, Jen Tan Sri Hj Mohd Nizam bin Hj Jaffar, YB Adly bin Zahari and the Chief of Army, Jen Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan.
The training featured dynamic and indirect fire segments under the 3rd Combined Arms Division (3 CAD) and also involved assets from the RMN and the RMAF. As the largest annual life firing exercise, FPT serves as a key platform to enhance the capabilities of MAF’s assets in joint operations. This year’s edition introduced the FlyEye Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) for real-time Target Acquisition and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA), further integrating modern technology into battlefield operations. The event also marked the historic first participation of the Johor Military Force (JMF).
Brig Jen Zamsari bin Abu Hasan, Commandant of MAFSC, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Chief of Army, 3 CAD and all participating officers and personnel for their professionalism and dedication. He emphasised that the knowledge gained from FPT 25 will strengthen Course Participants joint operational planning in Semester 3, enhancing command decision-making through a deeper understanding of integrated firepower capabilities.
