𝐏𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐘𝐀, 𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 : The Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) hosted the celebration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day at Dewan Hikmat. The event brought together military professionals and international course participants to honor Indonesia’s journey as a sovereign nation.
The reception was led by three Indonesian international course participants: Major Pramudyo Wardani (TNI-AD), Lt Cdr (P) Hadhito Prayogo (TNI-AL), and Major Agung Eko Hariyanto (TNI-AU). Their efforts produced a meaningful programme that highlighted Indonesia’s cultural heritage, national progress, and enduring diplomatic ties.
The Commandant of MAFSC, Brigadier General Zamsari bin Abu Hassan, attended the celebration together with faculty members, staff, and course participants from Malaysia and abroad. The programme featured Indonesia’s rich traditions, diverse geography, and achievements in economic and defence development. It also underscored the strong and growing partnership between Indonesia and Malaysia, particularly in defence cooperation and military education.
The event reflected MAFSC’s mission to foster international understanding, professional military education, and lasting friendships among officers worldwide. Celebrations like this continue to strengthen camaraderie, respect, and collaboration within the global defence community.
