π ππππ¨πππ« ππππ: The Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) marked Nigeriaβs 65th Independence Day with a formal presentation led by Lieutenant Commander Nuhu Kabir Bifo of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The event reinforced MAFSCβs commitment to cross-cultural understanding, professional military education and international camaraderie.
The ceremony took place in Hikmat Hall and was attended by Colonel Sukiman bin Mohamed Ghani, Chief of Directing Staff of MAFSC, as well as faculty members, directing staff and both local and international course participants. Beyond celebrating a national milestone, the gathering served as a platform for mutual respect and friendship among the collegeβs multinational officers.
Lieutenant Commander Nuhu Kabir Bifo delivered an informative briefing on Nigeriaβs geography, cultural heritage, socio-economic landscape and defence capabilities. He highlighted Nigeriaβs strategic position on the West Coast of Africa, its vibrant traditions, burgeoning tourism sector and key national development priorities. He also emphasised the warm diplomatic ties between Nigeria and Malaysia, particularly in defence training and military education.
This celebration exemplified MAFSCβs mission to foster international understanding, elevate professional military standards and cultivate enduring friendships. The 65th Independence Day of Nigeria thus became a memorable highlight in the collegeβs 2025 academic calendar.
