10 October 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: The Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) hosted the celebration of Uganda 63rd Independence Day at Dewan Hikmat. The event brought together military professionals and international course participants to honour Uganda journey of independence, resilience and national progress.
The reception was led by Ugandan international course participant Lieutenant Colonel Paul Rwabisharri Ampe, who organized a vibrant programme showcasing Uganda rich cultural heritage, national achievements and enduring spirit of unity. The celebration reflected the pride of the Uganda people while strengthening bonds with fellow officers in the course.
The Chief of Directing Staff of MAFSC, Colonel Sukiman bin Mohamed Ghani, attended the celebration together with faculty members, staff and course participants from Malaysia and abroad. The programme featured Uganda diverse traditions, dynamic development and progress in socio-economic and defence sectors. It also highlighted the growing friendship and cooperation between Uganda and Malaysia, particularly in the areas of defence and professional military education.
The event reflected MAFSC mission to foster international understanding, professional military education, and lasting friendships among officers worldwide. Celebrations such as this continue to strengthen camaraderie, mutual respect and collaboration within the global defence community.
