PUTRAJAYA, 1 October 2025 β The Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) commemorated the 76th National Day of the Peopleβs Republic of China with a formal presentation led by Captain Jia Qinkang of the Peopleβs Liberation Army. The event underscored MAFSCβs commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding, advancing professional military education, and strengthening international camaraderie.
Held at Hikmat Hall, the ceremony was graced by Colonel Sukiman bin Mohamed Ghani, Chief of Directing Staff at MAFSC, along with faculty members, directing staff, and both local and international course participants. More than a celebration of a national milestone, the event served as a meaningful platform to promote mutual respect and friendship among the collegeβs multinational officer cohort.
Captain Jia Qinkang delivered an insightful briefing covering Chinaβs geography, rich cultural heritage, socio-economic development, and defence capabilities. He highlighted Chinaβs strategic position in East Asia, its vibrant traditions, growing tourism industry, and key national development priorities. He also emphasised the strong diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, particularly in defence cooperation and military education.
This celebration exemplified MAFSCβs mission to cultivate global understanding, elevate professional military standards, and build enduring international partnerships. Chinaβs 76th National Day thus became a memorable highlight of the collegeβs 2025 academic calendar.
