𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐅𝐅 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄 (𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐓) – 𝐌𝐂𝐒𝐂(𝐉) 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝟓𝟒/𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

𝟒 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐏𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐲𝐚. The Commandant of the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC), Brig Jen Zamsari bin Abu Hassan, delivered a Commandant Disposal session with Course Participants (CP) of Cohort 54/2025 at Hikmat Hall, MAFSC.
After 43 weeks of rigorous training, the participants of MCSC(J) Serial 54/2025 are now entering the final phase of their journey towards graduation on 6 December 2025. During the session, Brig Jen Zamsari announced the Semester 2 results and shared performance updates for the Semester 3 Military Module. For the Semester 2 academic highlights, 95 CP achieved a perfect Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0, with a total of 162 CP attaining Distinction with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) between 3.67 and 4.0. The CP demonstrated strong performance across the Policy & Strategy Module (PSM), Command, Leadership & Management Module (CLM), and Co-Curricular Activities.
With the Semester 3 Military Module underway, the Commandant urged participants to seize this opportunity and rise to the challenge, as the college designed the module to develop CP ability to exercise decision-making and foster effective teamwork in a complex and dynamic environment. Key Messages from the Commandant:
• Remain focused, disciplined and committed until the final objective is achieved.
• Pursue growth and excellence.
• Use AI as a tool, not a crutch.
• There are no shortcuts in mastering military doctrines—read, engage, and apply with passion.
• Success is built on knowledge and effort, not on appointments.
• Attitude, participation, and teamwork will define overall success.
In his closing remarks, Brig Jen Zamsari urged participants to seize every opportunity to gain knowledge and embrace the course as a platform to prepare CP to confidently and effectively serve as staff or commanders in a joint operations environment. “Finish strong and stand tall on Graduation Day.”
