𝐏𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐲𝐚. Course Participants (CP) of the Malaysian Command and Staff Course (Joint) Serial 54/2025 demonstrated commitment, endurance and teamwork during the Basic Fitness Test (BFT) 2, held at the scenic Putrajaya Botanical Garden.
A total of 169 participants took part in the test, which began with a detailed briefing by GSO 1 Training MAFSC, Lt Kol Mohd Zaki bin Jusoh followed by warm-up exercises conducted by the Physical Training Instructors.
The BFT series, conducted periodically throughout the course, forms an integral part of the college’s holistic training approach. It ensures that every CP maintains a high level of physical readiness that complements intellectual development, leadership attributes and professional military bearing. This assessment underscores MAFSC’s commitment to developing officers who are mentally astute, physically resilient, and capable of performing effectively within complex, integrated operational settings.
BFT comprised two key components — the Cardiovascular Endurance Test (2.4 km run) and the Muscular Strength Test (push-ups and sit-ups). Performance in these tests contributes to the overall assessment framework, reinforcing the importance of consistent fitness maintenance throughout the year.
