The spirit of endurance, unity, and sportsmanship engagement was alive and well at this yearโs PUSPAHANAS Sports Carnival Cross Country Run 2025, held on 20 November 2025 at the scenic trails of Botanic Garden Putrajaya. The event brought together more than 300 participants from PUSPAHANAS HQ, National Resilience College (NRC), Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MAFDC) and Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC).
The event was organised by the MAFSC together with the annually MAFSC Sports Event. One of the highlights of the event was the strong participation from the MAFSC. More than 130 Course Participants (CP) took part, demonstrating not only their physical readiness but also their commitment to empowering military wellness. The event was also filled with excitement with the participation of NRC Course Members.
The run was officiated by the Commandant of NRC, Major General Abdul Karim bin Ahmad, accompanied by the Commandant of MAFSC, Brigadier General Zamsari bin Abu Hassan. Vice Admiral Datuk Sabri bin Zali, President of PUSPAHANAS took the time and gave out the medals and trophies to the winning participants and team. Team Lekir, led by the Commandant of MAFSC was the overall winner for PUSPAHANAS Sports Carnival 2025, winning 3 out of 4 sports competitions. Brigadier General Zamsari then gave out the medals to the MAFSC CP of MSCS(J) Serial 54/2025 winners and Kampar Division was announced as the winning Division for the Cross Country Run event.
The event is poised to remain a cherished annual tradition, one that strengthens bonds, promotes a healthier lifestyle and highlights the enduring spirit of camaraderie among all Faculty Members, Directing Staff and Course Participants locally and internationally.
