CHANA, Thailand, 1st August 2024. MCSCJ Serial 53\/2024 delegation led by Commandant visited Talingchan Subdistrict Administration Organisation (SAO) and Na Thap Village. These locating organisations played major roles in the fisheries industry and administrative centre for development in Southern Thailand region.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mr Pairote Potivong, Thailand’s Chief Ministers and Governors Forum Secretariat Consultant briefed on the Economic Corridor 1-Indonesia Malaysia Thailand Growth Triangle (EC1-IMT GT). While Mr Usman Whangsani, a researcher from the Institute of Peace, Prince of Songkhla University touched on the key components of EC1 covering Infrastructure Projects, Industrial Zone, Trade Facilitation, Tourism Initiatives and Human Capital Development.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The briefing also involved the local communities perspective on the development of the area. Local leader from Na Thap Village provided different perspectives in looking into the development while maintaining and preserving the natural fisheries resources of the area.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

At the end of the visit, Kol Sukiman bin Mohamed Ghani, the Chief Directing Staff (CDS), MAFSC, presented mementoes to everyone involved from the Thalingchan SAO community as a token of appreciation for organising the visit.<\/div>\n
