GEMAS, 13th August 2024 \u2013 The Fire Power Training 2024 (FPT 24) was successfully concluded at the Gemas Range, Negeri Sembilan with the presence of the Defence Minister, Dato\u2019 Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and Chief of Army, General Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan. The event is an annual combined arms life firing exercise featuring two main segments: Dynamic and Indirect Fire under the Third Combined Arms Division, supported by air assets from the Army Aviation and RMAF. The training involved manoeuvre and firepower coordination of the joint environment at the divisional level.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

FPT 24 presented future capabilities of combat arms with the usage of drones for target acquisition and Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) whilst the Army Aviation shots FZ 70 mm rocket system from MD-530G helicopters. FPT 24 since its inception, has assisted the Course Participants (CP) of MCSCJ, providing them the visualisation of fire power prior embarking on the joint operational module during Semester 3. Brig Jen Zamsari bin Abu Hasan, Commandant of the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MAFSC) conveyed his sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Chief of Army and particularly to all officers and personnel from 3 CAD who were involved in FPT 24.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
